My name is Godfrey Chapeshamano. My work involves management and administration of IT Systems and Information (Databases). I also develop windows and web applications.

ICT is a major factor to human and social development globally and I believe that OpenSource holds a significant contribution to the potential energy required to drive development in the third world, Africa especially.

Even though I mostly work with proprietory software and network systems, I would like to be part of the OpenSource community in order for me to contribute my efforts to develop the undeveloped (or the underdeveloped), by providing solutions and perhaps share my skills, knowledge and experiences as well as learn from others'.

I hope to contribute to OpenSourceZambia by participating and contributing to the activities that this community shall undertake.
